Waterton Trail Rides & Pack Trips
Mountain Meadow specializes in wilderness horseback adventures in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains next to Waterton Lakes/Glacier National Park. Visitors can ride side-by-side on well-trained horses guided by fourth generation cowboys from the historic Nelson Ranch. One and a half, two and a half, four and seven-hour scenic rides available, as well as two, three or four-day wilderness riding trips that include great food, base camp with cabins, cedar hot tub, shower and canoes at nearby lake. Old West cattle drives are also held in June, July and August. Corporate retreats and group packages available. May to October. Reservations recommended.
Get away from the crowds and get a view from the top of "High Five". See the country and have a llama carry the load, or take a guided tour on mountain bikes. Fish the 'blue-ribbon trout' streams and participate in a cattle drive, herding 400 cattle on a three-day adventure through the Porcupine Hills to the historic Waldron Ranch. Guides are available for all "Adventures".
Come enjoy horseback riding and pack trips at the only riding stable inside Waterton Lakes National Park.
Breathtaking scenery, wildlife, and wildflowers galore. Open from 9-5 daily with rides departing on the hour. 1,2,3 hour and up to all day rides with minimum age of 4yrs. Open May-Oct.
