Waterton visitors expecting barrel racing and bucking broncos at this annual event might be a bit disappointed. The Knapweed Rodeo takes place every July over two days and is not a rodeo but an annual event sponsored by Waterton Lakes National Park in which the public helps pick and bag the area's pesky knapweed. Volunteers get free entry into the park and the event features prizes. Families welcome, no experience necessary.
